Authoring Tool for Textbooks
The Textbook Toolbox by Chemeketa Community College Project Development Group is a HyperCard-based authoring tool for creating interactive, electronic textbooks. This resource is useful for experienced, as well as novice, Macintosh users. The manual that comes with The Textbook Toolbox includes detailed instructions on operating the software, an index, and some on-line help regarding the authoring tool’s features and functions. To author a textbook with this software, users need 2.5MB of RAM, Macintosh System 6.0.7 or greater, and HyperCard 2.1 or greater.
